Does It Even Matter Who The Pearls Are From?

Hey Guys,

After listening to the deep dive where you were speculating on which hosts the five pearls Dolores removed from the park are, I had the thought, does it matter. It has been shown that Dolores can make a host from just her memory, she has been in the park for around 20 years. Surely she could create any of the hosts that she spent time with in the park.

It was revealed in the finale that the reason they couldn’t recreate a human was that they were building a human to be too complicated. This revelation would imply that the dumbed down human code that Dolores was reading through inside the Forge could fit inside a host pearl. However I have an issue with this dumbed down logic. Sure a humans drive could be dumbed down, but drive alone doesn’t make a human. Memory is a key attribute, how do you shrink down a humans memory to such a small amount of code. Without memory you haven’t recreated someone like for like.
