I’m more convinced than ever that Dolores is in a sublime world of her own creation. Hale appeared to be a red herring. Notice the long-sleeved jacket she wears so as to disguise the absent scars on her forearm. In this world that Dolores created, Hale was never in an explosion. She never lost her family, she may have never had that family.
