Ed Harris Nailed It

Logan from Canada here. Fresh off the Instacast, I gotta agree with your criticisms of the action in this show. It really is just eye-rolling-ly bad at times. But anyways, enough of that. I choose to see the beauty in this world. The highlight of this episode for me was Ed Harris. Host William on the rooftop with the outlier. The emotions that we can see run though Host Williams face is amazing. Then later on, theres the conversation between Host and Human William. The Human is cold and dead-eyed while the Host has an almost child-like fear and uncertainty to him. When they talk about this virus infecting the hosts, I dont think its literal. Often things arent on this show. I think really the virus is developing empathy for a group of beings they previously viewed as lesser. They are confronted with the cruelty they are doing. Whats so great about being a god if you cant escape the guilt of what you’ve done? All in all, I enjoyed the episode.
To cap it off with a callback, and you may cover this in the deep-dive but I guess when Christina visited the mental health facility earlier in the season, she really did command those workers to leave. Interested to see what you have to say about this stuff.
Thanks for the time,
Logan from Canada.
