Emily/William/Juliette

Love your show but I disagree with something you guys said in this week’s instacast.
You said that you think William is essentially a good guy in the real world and that Emily keeps asking why did Juliette really kill herself just to mess with her dad but I think you’re missing the fact that at one point the Man in Black finally remembers sitting down on the edge of the bed as William (when as you say Juliette is pretending to be more drunk than she really is) and he admits to her that she’s the only one who sees through all his philanthropy and good guy stuff and that she’s right about him not belonging to her or this real world at all…we then see her get up and place his profile on the tablet and see all the stuff he’s been up to in Westworld. I believe the writers are making a serious point that William is the cause for much of Juliette’s madness and that there’s truth to what she says at one point…that William has taken out her family one at a time. William did send Logan off into the wilderness of Westworld naked on horseback which might have exacerbated his already addicted nature and William also took the reigns at Delos by recognizing the true potential of Westworld long before Logan’s dad started getting sick.
Anyhow, you guys gve me so much to think about with your podcasts so I figured I’d try writing in about this detail in case none of you pick it up in the deep dive.
Thanks!
Patrice.
