Episode 2 Thoughts

Hey guys,

Here are my thoughts after re-watchinfg Season 8, Episode 2 and listening to your insta-cast:

Ok so I really think that Jamie is going to be playing a huge role in the defeat of the Night King. His conversation with Bran in the Godswood left too many easter eggs to ignore: 1.) Bran says Jamie would’t be able to help them in this fight if he let them murder him first. To me, this implies Jamie is going to do something big and Bran has seen it as a possible outcome. 2.) Jamie is the KINGslayer how appropriate would it be for him to defeat the Night King- I know this is reaching but c’mon that would be beautiful if that actually played out. 3.) I think Jamie will be sacrificing himself to kill the Night King. Bran has seen it and hints at it when he asks Jamie- “how do you know there is an afterwords?” This will complete his character-redemption arc and his death will be painful for all of us.

The little girl that Sir Davos spoke with while leading the Salvation Army soup kitchen.-there’s something there. HBO only has a few episodes left- why would they waste any screen time with a throw-a-way character? Something happens with her and in the crypts. I’m not sure what or how but I can just feel HBO has something up their sleeve with her. They have had one too many references to the crypts for something unimportant to happen down there.

Why didn’t they include dragon plans during their round table battle talk? I felt it a little odd they wouldn’t discuss their most important weapons while going over their battle strategy. They mentioned them and their presence but I was hoping for details.

Did you guys also catch the post-sex look on Arya’s face? it didn’t look like afterglow to me. What’s going on there?

I’m pissed they brought Ghost back without a back story!!
