Episode 9 Westworld
My sister and I were nerding out after the episode tonight and she brought up something I missed. When Williams’s wife ‘wakes up’ after pretend sleeping- she grabs his profile from a book. The book is Slaughterhouse Five.
My sister stated “it’s a book about Billy Pilgrim who was a POW in Dresden during ww2 but then is taken by aliens and put in a zoo and observed as an experiment. The story is told in a nonlinear order, and events become clear through flashbacks (or time travel experiences) from the unreliable narrator. He describes the stories of Billy Pilgrim, who believes he was held in an alien zoo and has experienced time travel.”
All of this sound oddly too familiar and like you guys always say- Westworld doesn’t add things if they don’t mean anything. They’re just too good. Just wanted to see if you noticed this as well.
Thanks guys! I always look forward to your podcasts throughout the week. Can’t wait for this weeks 🙂
