This is the future not now. Even when William shows up (30 years ago) it is the distant future with electronics and AI.
There is no way Fords family would be that dated. Even a stretch for West World to be existing now
The other think is Ford’s obsession with being able to remember and how that affects the “Reveries” program and code that he wrote.
