It Feels Good to Write Them All Down

Dear Shatters,
Sorry to say, this is not some all-inclusive answer to everything but like everyone else” purely speculative. If we think we can crawl with the mind of JJ Abrams so quickly in the season then we are just running our personal loop. I had a couple of thoughts which I thought might be of interest.

Cold storage” What if following the event 30 years ago, they took all the HOSTS and put them in cold storage to figure out what went wrong. When security goes down to cold storage they are armed and ready to blow some stuff away, but Bernard is of the understanding that the HOSTS will not harm anyone. Well security must have a different view from maybe some previous event. Indicating that the HOSTS that are in cold storage were there before Bernard started because of their different possible behavior that Bernard is not expecting. So that when Bernard starting working , aka 10 years ago, cold storage was already full from before and since his start they have been depositing the new (organic) HOSTS with the shutdown mechanical ones.

I know this is all over the place just like JJ Abrams but look at the conversations we are having at the water cooler. This is by design. My wife and I were driving to see some friends yesterday and the USB thumb drive failed on me as we were listening to your latest podcast which are a lot of fun and that is all people should see in this is the entertainment of you guys all talking about the show. Fuck those people that are too serious. I agree I’ll be pissed if we go down the LOST rabbit hole to end with a crappy ending. I hope they have learned their mistake. Side note” best ending ever. Bob Newhart show when he wakes up and says, I was dreaming I was an innkeeper in New England that was fantastic.

General Observations.

I think that in episode 1 when they are going over the lab for the first time or somewhere in there” you see Abernathy getting dressed as the Professor in my mind. I could be wrong. I’m of the opinion we are looking at one long time line but cut up all over the place.
The man in black scalps Kissey after draining 3 quarts of blood. Is that because it is easier to scalp or is there something else, maybe they go into a fail mode for easier hacking when they are drained of their essence (a little Dark Crystal reference).
Computer game” so you play until you get killed or you beat the boss. That is what MIB is doing each time he comes back and it has taken him 30 years to get to the point he is at now after figuring out the goal of each level. Where does he start when he starts again back at Sweetwater and that is why he doesn’t have time for Deloris and is past that character. So Robert cannot put a strong enough Boss in front of him as he taunts Robert. And Robert indicates that he could not have come up with a villain as fucked up as MIB and that is because Robert is a HOST and knows not how to imagine beyond his narrative. We take it for granted that Robert is the brains when in fact I feel he keeps going down to cold storage to talk to Arnold’s creations to see if he can learn what he can from Arnold what was left. I think Arnold was the FELT in the greyhound story and Robert killed him.
Basement technician” I think the man reanimating the bird is the same character in Jurassic park who was stealing the eggs (NEWMAN) to get rich. I hope that is not the case but it seemed very similar. So this clown accidently thrown some switch on Maeve while working on the bird. It is like opening the firewall full for troubleshooting to get your new computer to work and then closing the firewall down once you have identified the ports and services that need to be regulated for safety. Well the technician opened up the firewall and forgot to close it and now Maeve has been activated or turned on.
Antenna in the arm of the woodman. How the hell do you get something like that installed. You need an inside man i.e. the technician who is working on the bird. Either getting rich sending secrets to someone, allowing someone either from inside or outside to control a HOST, or someone observing what is going on from this HOST. Either way the dudes in the basement are the ones that have to install it.
HOSTS” do they keep within their loop until someone kills them? So how long can someone be in a loop if they are not killed.
Drinking Milk” I think this is the HOSTS that are organic now bitching about the mechanical versions being better and understanding that Arnold was behind the better mechanical ones and the organics are not something they like.
My wife pointed out that some of the conversations with Delores are with her dressed and also naked. Does at some point she tell them she would like to be clothed? Didn’t Adam and Eve want clothes or something once they had created sin; i.e. eating the apple of knowledge?

I’m sure you have heard most or all of these already but it is like therapy to write them down.

Keep up the good works and WE are all wrong as this is JJ Abrams and we have not seen the Snake in the Mailbox yet. That will turn everything around.
