Hi Guys,

Recently discovered your podcast and now find it an indispensable companion as WestWorld is relatively unknown in Australia and I know only one person that is hooked in the same way.

I shared your initial disappointment with Ep 5 and found the plot lurched from one deus ex machina to the next. Also, Sizemore shouldn’t still be acting surprised when the hosts go off script. On review, I still had that concern but thought perhaps the writer had invested the screen time to buy credibility for what comes next.

Maeve’s last line, as the Samurai charge towards her, is “I found a new voice. Now we use it”. So here’s my theory, Maeve is basically going to acquire an army of mesh-network controlled Samurai. Which has great potential in the second half of the season. If this is the case, and the writers pull it off, I’ll accept the ham fisted plot in Ep 5.
