Westworld Secret: Angela Is Sentient

I know, we’re all warned to not fall down the reddit rabbit hole. and I’ve tried, so very very hard to block out everything i read on there, but i saw this and now questioned everything else i thought of episode 9.

did I miss it? was it so obvious and I was too enthralled with thinking Teddy is based off WiB that I ignored the OBVIOUS sign that Angela is fully sentient? I just kind of threw away what she was saying and chalked it up to Ford’s backstory/narrative, what better way to get all the players where you want them then send that friendly face on over but now….now I don’t know.

Is this that typical Nolan thing to do where we’ve been so focused on Maeve and Dolores and if MIB is William and why the fuck logan holds a picture of his sister in his pocket (DOES ANYONE ELSE AGREE THATS CREEPY…LIKE HE KNEW HED HAVE TO REMIND HIS BROTHER IN LAW THAT HIS SISTER IS STILL IN THE PICTURE…..) that we all just sat there ignoring the fact that we have a fully conscious fucking host telling us to our face that shes CONSCIOUS AND SENTIENT AND ALL THAT JAZZ?

Her narrative/backstory (or at least the flashback we got when she was confronting my dear Theodore) even would play into the fact that shes sentient its clear that shes crying over a dead body of what I can only assume is HER mate in this game…..so could she ALWAYS have been sentient and now is given the chance to be in the park in a crucial piece to ensure that all the others become sentient too? DO YOU SEE HOW FAR DOWN I’M ALREADY GOING?

help guys, you know i don’t ask for much (except podcasts that are posted at times I’m stuck in traffic) so…if you get a moment…..just tell me flat out if this is something that made you say WHAT THE FUCK to or not.
