Hey guys,

Huge fan on the podcast! Been listening ever since the first season, but this is the first time i’m writing in!

After re-watching the episode “Riddle of the Sphinx”, I started to really question how much control Ford still has over the park, and how much of this he has planned and mapped out in advance. In my opinion, it is now clear that Dr Ford intentionally made Bernard keep Elsie in that cave, so that she could help him with him brain leakage later on. Ford knew he would need help after he shot himself in the head. This means that Ford had been planning this for a while. Moreover, Clementine was clearly acting on behalf of Ford when she took Bernard to the cave in the first place. This makes me wonder how much of the current parks situation is really chaos, or instead just Fords narrative, perhaps for William.

We have seen throughout the season that there are many different underground labs, and it could be that in each one Delos is/was working on a different “human host”. Even if James Delos was a failure, other experiments could have been successful. It seems this is the case as in the flashbacks we see Ford control Bernard to take the new “host brain” before killing everyone. This will obviously come into play later in the season.

What I think would be an interesting twist, is if the Man in Black’s daughter is actually dead in real life, and “Grace/Emily” isn’t human, but instead the result of what Bernard took for Ford from the secret Lad in his flashbacks. We as an audience still don’t know when that took place, and due to Bernard’s memories not being in line with each other, this could be that Ford re-created the Man in Blacks daughter (bringing her back to life), and put her into the Park as a part of the new game of the Man in black. This would work with the plot, as one of the main themes of this season is rebirth and immortality.

I doubt they will actually go with this idea, but the fact that this could even happen is testament to the amazing writing on the show, and how well they have developed the possibilities of where the show is really going.

Again, huge fan of the Podcasts, keep up the good work!
