Teddy Is Dr. Ford’s Bladerunner

Guys, love the show. Two theories I have had for a few weeks that are looking increasingly plausible:

I think the massacre at Escalante was Teddy, as Dr. Ford’s agent, cleaning up the bicameral misfit toys after Arnold was killed. Maybe Ford created him to be a kind of Bladerunner, sniffing out the sentient hosts? His close relationship with Delores is just him keeping an eye on her to see if she tries to kill again – Ford has been letting her live because he can’t bring himself to retire the purest form of what Arnold was trying to create.

I think Dr Ford is well aware of Maeve’s revolution, and is giving her just enough rope to hang herself and any hosts she can recruit to her cause. If she rounds them all up to join her in a push for freedom, Ford can eliminate them in one fell swoop.

I’m envisioning a season ending where, just as Ford is unveiling his new narrative, the rebel hosts burst onto the stage, and Ford, giving another great speech, surprises Maive with another back door control and ends her rebellion.

And somehow, Ford dies in the last episode because there’s no way Anthony Hopkins signed on for another season.

Would love to hear your thoughts guys, thanks for reading, and keep up the fine work!
