Ford Told Arnold the Truth

Hi there,

I love the podcast.
I have one theory for you:

At the very beginning Ford built Arnold as a first host. Arnold gained consciousness and hid himself in the park. When we see Elsie being strangled, she is strangled by Arnold, he looks like Bernard because he also didn’t age. So when Ford told Bernard that he had never made him kill anyone but Teressa he was telling the truth.

Some clues to support that theory:

when Teressa discovers the blueprints in the basement there are for the prototype of Dolores and (we think) Bernard, and they are labeled “Prototype”, and based on the fact that we can see the mechanical insides they must be a very early blueprints. Why would Ford have a blueprint for Bernard (based on Arnold) so early? We needed Dolores already when Arnold died so if Bernard is based on Arnold, his blueprint would be much newer (no mechanical stuff).
why a human would be so obsessed with consciousness, we take it for granted, Arnold was obsessed with it to become “real” like Ford. It would be so natural for a being to want to become as equal to his creator as possible, just as humans have always wanted to become Gods. We don’t like feeling inferior.
Dolores was said to be “the oldest host in the park”, but we don’t know if “the oldest one ever”. Arnold to discover the “maze way” of gaining consciousness was only discovered because that what happened to him. I think Ford saw that his first creation was a mistake and being arrogant wanted to prove that building a second Arnold (Bernard) can be perfected.
