Game Of Thrones- Instacast From S8E2

Hey guys!

Love the podcast. Wanted to chime in regarding the very end of this instacast you both mentioned you didn’t get the point of the little girl being introduced in the scene with Davos, and thought it has to do with lord of light children. You mentioned you wanted to dive deeper there.

If you think about it, the end of season 7 is when Davos learned that they killed Stannis daughter Shireen. To him, that was as if it was his own daughter. The way she spoke and having that scar on her face was very similar to Shireen. It’s almost as if she would have wanted to fight with the living if she were alive because she was always brave. Maybe it was just me but I didn’t think of the scene like you guys did, it was an emotional part for me. You may also recall that Gilly learned a lot from Shireen and was teaching her to read in the old seasons. I can’t recall which ones but she also had a moment with Davos in last nights episode and it was as if they both shared the same thought about the girl.

Just wanted to throw that out there!
