The podcast has really been making this season much more enjoyable for me. I’ve read all the books and am just waiting for the last of the series to come out. This final season of the show isn’t my favorite but I love hearing your analysis each week.
One thought I had was how Jon Snow always says that Daenerys is his queen. It reminds me of back in season 2 when Sansa is betrothed to Joffrey and despite hating and fearing him, always tells people that she loves him and that he is her king. She seems to know that she can’t let her guard down for fear that it will get back to the queen or Joffrey and she will pay for any words against him. Perhaps Jon is doing the same with Dany so that she does not suspect that he will turn on her or try to steal the crown until the time is right. Finish the final war, secure the seven kingdoms and then deal with who is the rightful heir.
