Game of Thrones Theory, No Spoilers, Just Ideas

Hi again,

I also just had another thought as I started rewatching the episode just now. In the intro Bran says Jon must know about his true parents. This is obviously interesting because it gives Jon a chance to know the truth, but it also could definitely cause a rift between Danny and Jon. If Bran only cares about the defeat of the army of the dead, why would he try to light a match for the biggest potential powder keg before the conflict with the dead.

One idea I had was that it would provide Jon the context for taking full control of the dragons to do battle with the dead. Im not sure how needed this would be because based on the first episode we already see that Jon can ride a dragon now. (even if it’s to the soundtrack of Aladdin…)

Another possibility is that Bran realizes that for the good long term health of the realm, Jon must be in at least equal control of the seven kingdoms.

I’m not sure if Jon would even act on the fact that his claim is better, given how honorable he is and that he has pledged his word to Cersi. It would be interesting to see if others around him such as Sansa try to exploit the information on his behalf, or more cynically to remove him as a potential claim to winterfell.
