Hey, it’s great to have you guys cutting into a new show!

I knew within the first moments that this was going to be Gene’s kind of show. No more gnashing of teeth at the simple scene and dialog of Westworld. No J.J. Abrams lurking in the LOST like structure…

I’ve watched the episode and listened to the podcast so here are my 2 shillings…

Loved the atmosphere and the grit.
Definitely struck me as Poe-esque…telltale heart, etc.
Enjoyed the dialog and scenes which were pregnant with subtext and malice.
Knew the Rog would be upset cause no real prospect for romance (well maybe some Lanister kind)
not sure if James is going to be a real protagonist or more a Bill the Butcher…
Enjoyed the supernatural aspects of the episode even if it remains to be seen if they are red herrings or if not how big a role they will play.
Overall really enjoyed it. Want Hardy’s hat. Really really really hate the commercials…kills the mood.
