GOT Episode 5 S8

Hello from the state of Texas!

A few thoughts regarding last night’s episode of GoT:

I did expect Dany to go “insane in the membrane”, (a) she is the daughter of the Mad King; (b) she not only lost another one of her children but also her last two best friends (Jorah & Missandei); (c) she hasn’t felt the respect or even the slightest form of regard for her supposed claim to the throne from anyone in Westeros (in episode 4 I could see her jealousy of Jon growing as she observed the way people love & admire him); & (d) she’s hit rock bottom! She’s retrieving into her shadowy thoughts because the dragon is awake in her! She has been battling Tyrion’s efforts to retrain her from going wild since their arrival to Westeros. There is nothing more dangerous than having a woman feel rejected, secluded in her dark, unspoken thoughts plotting her next move and not demonstrating her true emotions of rage. HELLO, ever watch “Snapped” on the Oxygen channel?!

I also noticed that Jon was probably the most flabbergasted by Dany’s unruly behavior and that everything that she did last night was something that he DID NOT expect. I could also see a fear of what “could be” on his face if she, in fact, becomes queen. Maybe in his head and definitely in Tyrion’s head there was an idea of “Oh shit, Varys was right!” w/some regret and fear all rolled up into one. I felt a sense of urgency in Arya’s face mixed with fear. Is Arya going to gallop back home to warn Sansa and the others? If Dany burned Varys, why didn’t she take down Jon? Or in her madness is she going to want to take Sansa down for betrayal? Aren’t all of the Starks in danger or being in the crosshairs of Dany’s wrath? If it’s one thing Arya will never let happen, it’s the taking down of her family, she will fight tooth and nail to never let that happen, not if she can help it. What role will Bran play? And is it goodbye for Tyrion? What favor did he ask of Davos? Did that come to fruition yet?

ALL 7 HELLS have broken loose!!!! p.s. I’m scared!
