First, thank you for all the work that you do for this podcast! I love listening to your analysis.

When you were talking about character arcs in the deep dive you described jayme Lannister as achieving the martyr position in his arc. That got me thinking. What if he is the ultimate martyr, dying while killing the night king, making him not only a kingslayer, but also the night kingslayer? We’ve seen him continue to train since losing his hand, but we haven’t seen what he’s now capable of. Bronn’s still busting his balls (when he surreptitiously takes him to meet Tyrion in Kong’s Landing last season), but what evidence do we have that he hasn’t gotten better? Maybe, maybe not, but since the speculation is almost over, I wanted to get in on the action.
