GOT Rewrite! S7/S8

Hey guys,

I love the podcast! I rewrote Game of Thrones as it SHOULD have gone as if seasons 7 and 8 didn’t happen. I have a longer, more detailed version but here it is with less than 500 words. Dany has just arrived on Dragonstone with her amassed forces.

Euron pledges to fight for Cersei. Dany attacks King’s Landing, destroying Euron and his fleet, but not the entirety of King’s Landing. She takes Cersei hostage. Cleganebowl happens. Dany claims the throne.

Jon brings a wight to King’s Landing to ask Dany for help. Dany says okay as long as he bends the knee, and he does. They mine dragonglass in Dragonstone. Sam cures Jorah and they head for Winterfell. Jon and Dany have boat sex on the way to Winterfell.

Gendry makes dragonglass weapons. Bran and Sam realize Jon’s heritage and find Rhaegar’s harp in Lyanna’s tomb. During the battle for Winterfell, Beric dies fighting, Theon gets killed by an ice spider, and Grey Worm dies fighting. Melisandre helps out with her fire magic and then Davos kills her. Bran tells Jon he saw the Night King die and the attack slows to a halt.

Everyone celebrates and Bran announces Jon’s true heritage. Dany stomps away angrily, fuming. She flies south. Bran tells Jon he better go after her, because she has gone mad. Rhaegal has stayed behind for Jon, and he rides Rhaegal south. Jon and Rhaegal find Dany and Drogon destroying King’s Landing.

Epic dragon fight here. The people see Jon defending them. Jon and Dany end up on the ground. They rise from a cloud of ashes. Dany is defenseless without her dragons, and Jon kills her with Longclaw. The sword bursts into flames as he plunges it into her heart. Drogon’s allegiance shifts to Jon.

A month later the Unsullied, Dothraki and northern forces show up. Everyone bows to Jon, who will accept the throne. Sansa will be ruler in the north. Arya will be an explorer. Tyrion will be the Hand. Varys will be the master of Whispers. Davos will be master of war. Sam will be Archmaester. Bran sits around smirking. Meanwhile, in the dungeon, Jaime is choking Cersei to death. Jaime rips off his face, and it’s Arya.

Jon sits on the iron throne, ready to be crowned. A huge crowd of people are gathered, bowing. Ghost is next to Jon, looking content and loved. Jon’s dragon/direwolf crown is lowered onto his head .. BY THE NIGHT KING’S BLUE ICE HANDS! Bran starts laughing maniacally. The Night King smiles. Jon looks up at the viewer, and his eyes are icy blue. The throne freezes and a cold wind blows through the throne room. All the people lift their heads. A sea of blue eyes. Bran laughs. The dragons fly east, Ghost is riding on Rhaegal’s back.

The end.

Epilogue: Bronn chilling in Essos in a brothel, happy as a clam.
