Hey guys,

I’m intrigued by this podcast of fan-fiction. Here’s a shot at it starting at the end of Season 7, episode 4.

Jamie and Bronn get captured after the Loot train battle. For attempting to kill Drogon, Bronn gets the flame. Dany agrees to parley with Cersei (she has dragons, a significantly larger army, and Jamie). Cersei concedes as Drogon almost roasts Jamie. Dany enters King’s Landing to admiration and praise from the commoners. Having achieved her dreams so easily, she decides to investigate Jon’s dead army claims.

Upon seeing Dany and her dragon, the Night King(NK) stares intently, devising a way to defeat the fiery beast. Dany, now convinced of the northern threat, decides to send most of her army north to help at Winterfell (a smaller force to defend the city). She decides to leave Tyrion and Varys at KL since they are not fighters, but takes Jamie since she believes Tyrion will set him free.

The NK freezes enough of the water around Eastwatch to march his army around the wall. Along the way (Last Hearth), he acquires his ice spears. Upon reaching Winterfell, the battle ensues. The NK spears and kills Viserys. Dany, in a fit of rage, makes a B-line to the NK, flames him while accomplishing nothing, and is forced to retreat once he raises another spear. Slowly but surely making his way to Bran, the NK and his army slaughter the northern forces. All deaths seen in the show occur. Upon reaching him, the NK plunges his sword deep into Bran, while Jon arrives just in time to witness. After killing Bran, the NK looks at Jon, who charges. In an unexpected twist, the NK holds out both arms, embracing his demise as Jon shatters him. (Sam in future episodes does symbol matching between the symbols left by the NK with those of the children in the caves, and concludes the NK just wanted to die but couldn’t until the 3ER was destroyed. Why? Who knows.)

The morning after the Long Night battle, while Dany is recovering & preparing to head south, the remaining Lannister army and Golden Company ambush them at Winterfell. Scorpion bolts fly into the castle, killing a sleeping Rhaegal. Dany, infuriated at losing half her army and 2/3 of her children the same day, is now blinded with rage. She tried to be merciful with Cersei and lost a child. She tried to help Jon and lost a child. She burns EVERTHING (including Jamie, Cersei, Grey Worm, Gendry, Arya, Davos). The remaining northerners (Jon, Samwell, Sansa) hide in the crypts to escape the destruction and flee using the tunnels.

As the sole survivor of a decimated battlefield, Dany decides to fly back to Kings Landing. Jon infiltrates the Red Keep, where Dany is still being praised by the people who didn’t see her burn Winterfell. Jon tells Tyrion what happened and that Jamie is dead. Tyrion wants to kill Dany but can’t bring himself to do it. Jon decides it is worth his life to kill Dany. Upon seeing him, Dany (now calm), attempts to rekindle her relationship with Jon as he stabs her. Drogon melts the throne, taking her body back East. Having no succession line and being her highest ranking advisor, Tyrion is named King with Varys as his hand. Regrettably, Tyrion is forced to execute Jon in KL just like Ned. Sansa ends up in the north as images of them rebuilding Winterfell conclude the story.
