Hey Guys,

Well, we made it! Thanks for all your dedication to the show!

Question: With Bran ending up as the new king, do you interpret this to mean that he always did actually want it and actively manipulated events to put himself on the throne? If this is where the writers and perhaps Martin are going, does this make Bran a villain in a sense? I was fine with how they arrived at Bran as the choice for the king during the council, but I’m just more curious about what role he played or may have played to get to the situation where there WAS the council. Lastly, I know he said on several occasions that he couldn’t or wouldn’t be lord of Winterfell, but did he ever say anything specifically about being king of Westeros, did he know all along that was where he wanted to end up?

Anyways, all hail King Bran the Broken: New official house words, “I do not break the wheel, I bring the wheels!” The first official royal decree, “Let the good times roll!”

P.S. For people who say there was no foreshadowing for Bran becoming king, I point to S3 when Joffrey complained about having to go up all the stairs to the Tower of the Hand, and Tywin replies, “We can arrange to have you carried.” Ok no, I was blindsided(aside from the leaks) by Bran becoming king.
