GOT Winterfell
I was listening to today’s episode and heard you guys (possibly) complaining or lamenting the show’s thread of couples hooking up. While I absolutely see your point about such plot lines being old and tired, one must look at reality. Human beings actually react that way in times of danger or perceived danger. It really is a psychological component of us as human beings. It is sexual attraction and survival mode. It makes sense that the uncertainty of life, illness, hunger and especially war, would lead us to give in to carnal desires we would normally suppress.
Here’s an article about it if you’d like to take a quick look.

So we can either look at these plot lines as being hokey and predictable (I do), or view them as very realistic…as much as we might hate them as tired tropes and lazy writing.
Thank you guys for doing such a great job. Look forward to listening to your next episode.
