Grace/Emily And William

Hi guys and gal,

I feel like you are reading too much into William/Emilly’s interaction at the camp fire.

Rather than either of them being a host or trying to catch anyone out with the elephant line, I believe that this dialogue was simply put there to show how much of a bad husband/father William is.

He has spent so long away from his family and in his fantasy world of Westworld that he can’t even remember whether its his wife or daughter who is scared of elephants. As someone who has grown up in a family full of deadbeat dads, I see this kind of thing all the time.

Also, with regards to the grace/Emily name variation; I have two possible simple reasons for that.

Either Emily no longer wanted to be associated with her dad, so she changed her name completely, or (as the name Grace was only mentioned in the credits) she wasn’t named Emily on the show to avoid spoilers.

And a quick unrelated side point: The cradle isn’t actually called the cradle. The door says CR4-DL. Whats the significance of that code? Does the number 4 suggest that there are multiple “cradles”?

Keep up the great work, Westworld wouldn’t be the same without you.
