How could there be such a divergence in opinion between your reaction to this episode and the reaction on “The Recappables”?

I’ve listened to every episode of your podcast, but occasionally will drop in on others for an immediate side hustle. It will never be popular to mention any other content in the same space, but it was so striking to me that almost every single opinion about the episode you had, the things you loved collectively were their exact reasons why it added up to a least favorite episode.

What’s strange, I didn’t know how I felt about this episode, and when I listened to the other folks I felt pushed to agree with them, only to then hear your instacast and be pushed towards your opinion.

Kind of a headfuck. I work in cinema, college educated, usually with strong opinions- after this episode I needed someone to solidify what I felt, and was swayed wildly between two extremes.
