Increasingly Annoyed and Whiny Ship

Hey guys. I’ve been loving the podcast thus far. Thank you for so much excellent content. I just love hearing you three going over all of the possible Westworld theories. It is a highlight of my week.

This week, however, there was a shift in tone that I started to notice in the last few episodes. Roger in particular has spent the last few episodes unrelentingly bashing the show. To me, it seemed that he has been so put off by this show, the mere discussion of multiple time lines sends him into an annoyed rage. (This week the show appeared to be telegraphing that there are, in fact, multiple time lines”just look at the knife William is holding in the tease for next week). Now, I am all for differences of opinion, but if you are going to be spending the next five weeks shitting all over a show that I happen to be very excited about, then maybe I have found the wrong podcast.

Meanwhile, before I jump off your increasingly annoyed and whiny ship, I have a theory: that when Dolores is seeing herself in Pariah, she is actually remembering events of the past, and she is having trouble reconciling those memories because she has never had access to these memories before.

Also, what if some of the hosts actually achieved consciousness in the William/Logan past, and their memories were wiped or their software was reset, ala The Matrix sequels. I think the hosts are in a constant cycle of achieving consciousness and being reset, and The Man in Black is there to break the cycle.

Anyway, I still love the show. I gave you a great review. Try not to erode all of the good will you have earned by being so annoyed at the very theories that give your show a reason to exist.
