James Delos Mind Fails Before He Discovers He Is A Host

Hello!
First time writing in, love the show! I think you guys are missing out on an important detail. William goes over how many days Delos lasts in each run in his last talk with his father in law. His mind hits a plateau after some time and the interval in between is getting longer and longer but even on the Man in Blacks last visit it’s still only 35 days. The ticks begin even before there is any indication that James is a host. For example the shaking in the leg whilst the questions are being asked, And the milk spill. I think that James Delos’s mind fails on its own because it cannot accept reality. He doesn’t need William to tell him he is a host, his subconscious already knows it. My guess is that soon after motor control functions fail the speech functions fails as well which is why immediately after James starts shaking William comes on cue. That’s my theory!
