Jon Fulfilled the Prophecy

Have a Theory? Share It Now!

The weather changing isn’t that large of an inconsistency. Just visit Texas or Oklahoma in the winter. It”s 80 degrees one day then snowing the next.

The problem is people were SO SURE about their theories about the Azor Ahai/Prince that was Promised prophecies being about Jon killing the Night King

So when Arya killed the Night King they threw their hand in the air in disgust and proclaimed that there”s no prophecy on the show and that Benioff and Weiss just screwed it up.

Then when Jon (Azor Ahai) kills Dany (Nissa Nissa) and brings forth a literal Lightbringer (Drogon) to burst the Iron Throne into flames (direct line from the prophecy) and then it STOPS SNOWING, people completely miss that the prophecy was fulfilled…just not in the way they expected.

Azor Ahai was always about killing the white walkers (Ice Magic) AND destroying the Iron Throne (Fire Magic).

Stopping the tyranny Daenerys was about to spread across the world was just as important in the prophecy (and to George) as stopping the White Walkers.

Great observations, Michael. I was so torn on whether to read this one or your Umm Actually. They were both so good.
