Hey Guys,

At the end of the episode, Dolores tells Bernard that she cannot succeed without him, though they will not be allies or friends.

I suspect we’ll see Bernard grapple with his situation for a couple of seasons as his allegiances waver between AI and human.

My prediction is that he’ll ultimately make the decision to sacrifice himself so Dolores can’t win, permanently deleting himself and all back ups of his consciousness somehow from the Matrix and destroying his mind-ball. (Although maybe HBO will give us a closing scene winking at whether he might still exist somewhere).

Dolores told us she can’t win without Bernard. That points to some kind inevitable conflict where he can’t beat her, but he can defeat her by taking himself out of the equation.
