My name is Jesse Jordan. I loved today’s episode but I felt that it should have been topped off with some really big and unexpected reveal. In fact, when they focused on the fly, I thought for a second that they might actually explain something big regarding all the fly references dating back to episode 1. The second season lacks big reveals, we’ve got many small reveals but this mellow episode would have been the perfect time to throw in a big reveal and catch us off guard.
I know, the reveal of all the maze drawings was a big reveal, but something unexpected and disconnected to Ake’s story would have been exciting! I was actually expecting something like they showed the fly and I also was pretty excited when I saw Logan and thought that he might go with Ake or so. But that didn’t happen either.
Also, I have some thoughts on the MiB is a host theory. I think he might have created a host version of himself just like James Delos. Except, he might never expose it to reality or the real world. This explains some things. In the first episode, he says “…this time, I’m never going back…” In fact, if one of his primary directives is to not leave the park, he will do whatever he can to avoid that. This explains why he was hiding from QA in episode 7 and also why he escaped from his daughter after planning with her to leave the park. Also, makes sense why Ford is even interested to engage with him even after death.
Sorry for the long email. I hope you will take a part of it.
Thank you,
Jesse
