Regardless, I think you’ve lost sight of Logan. We have no confirmation he’s dead. William’s reference to his overdose is inconclusive. Logan, perhaps more than any purely human character, has a revenge motive. I believe Logan is the unseen Delos boss who is so desperate to retrieve the park’s precious customer data. The sales-pitch scene early this season was too exquisite to leave Logan out of the climax to Season 2. The reveal might involve meeting a current-day senior-citizen version of Logan played by a new actor, or… there might be some trippy timeline rug-pulling that resets everything back to a time when young Logan was still young.

Finally, following the extreme nature of the robot uprising, future seasons of the show would seem to be very difficult to plot out. Surely the theme-park can’t reopen. But, bringing us back in time… or taking the action firmly into the real (mainland) world… would give us a satisfying re-set as we head into future seasons.
