Hey guys,

I love the podcast.

My wife and I were talking and think that Logan is the Man in Black makes a lot of sense. I’m not sure if you’ve covered this, so I’m throwing this out there:

1. In the first timeline, Logan’s Dad is in charge of the company that is looking at doing a hostile takeover of WW. Logan is likely the heir to the company (which is likely Delos).

2. Logan is blackhat. Man in Black is a blackhat. For William to become Man in Black would take a massive character change, but not so much for Logan.

3. Logan is separated from William during the journey to the maze. What if William is lost trying to find the maze and Logan feels guilty for brining him. This creates a lot of guilt for Logan, turning him into a better person outside of WW, but it makes him obsessed with discovering what happened to William”making him crueler inside the park.

4. Recently, management has been getting information from the park. This is actually Logan trying to get information to help him find the maze. Although Logan/MiB has been searching for answers since losing William, only now is he putting all the pieces together because of the code from the park.

5. Teddy is modeled after William. William and Logan came to the park together and it’s natural that Teddy is paired up with Logan/MiB now on this journey.

6. Logan hasn’t been a large part of the story, so it’s a bit of misdirection from the writers.

Cool! Let me know what you think.
