Hey guy, Joe from Kentucky here:

I completely agree that it is nice to have Game Of Thrones back. The “side quest” of the Night King was intense, entertaining, and important. But to actually have the dialog, the cunning, the cinematography, and the intensity of scenes, are all what got us all hooked on GoT to begin with.

* When Bronn busted in the room like Kramer with a crossbow, I was so nervous. On the edge of my seat and almost in a panic. * All the arrows, nocked and drawn, pointed at Tyrion, again, I was on the edge of my seat. * The magical homing bolts shooting Rhaegon.
* Varys contemplating treason against Dany.
* The Hound and Arya riding off together, the realism of their conversation. Even mustering a laugh/scoff from The Hound was so very GoT.

All are examples of why this episode was epic.

I know I’ll be shunned, but 8-04 was better than 8-03. The battle for Winterfell was an epic record breaking, bloodshed of an episode with one of the best endings. But it wasn’t Game of Thrones.

I have said from 8-01 that Dany will turn sinister, and no one believes me, but I think that after seeing her in episode 4, some are becoming to see my view.

Her drive for the Iron Throne has become a lust for power. Using the freedom of everyone from tyranny as her platform, she will become the Mad Queen.

I am willing to bet that at some point in the last two episodes she will say “Burn Them All”.
