When William shoots Dolores a couple of times at the beginning of the episode, I think a lot of people are forgetting is that Dolores is one of the original hosts. Her body is still mechanical and not synthetic like the other hosts like Maeve. This explains why she took all those shots and Maeve couldn’t. Thoughts?

Dolores was only mechanical at the beginning of the park and when she met William. Since then was often repaired and regularly upgraded. Like Stubbs said in the first episode: “She’s been repaired so many times, she’s practically brand new”. The reason she can take a beating is more a combination of the “Wyatt” mode and being self-aware that allows her to ignore the damage to her body. The only host that remained mechanical for over three decades was Akecheta as those upgrade are only made when the hosts “die”.
