Hey Guys,

First off let me start of by saying that your podcast is amazing! I’m a new listener my friend put me on to your podcast that he and his fiancé found and I love every minute of it. We literally listen to it on our headphones at work and talk about it on break later on in the day.

This is my breakdown of the episode from my perspective:
Night king: Did everything for the most part very strategically, he didnt use his dragon right away when the battle started he was up in the clouds manipulating the weather which made it hard for the living to see and fight. Even when he was on the ground and Jon came charging he just wants to kill Bran and let the dead do the rest to the army of the living. He was extremely smart and calculated but in the end his over confidence was his demise.

Our heroes: Jon, my favorite scene with Jon was when he was making his way to Bran and saw all the people he’s fought side by side with, respect and loves needed some sort of help by he knows Bran is the objective, HE Needs to be protected at all costs. Daenerys, she was very quick to hop on Drogon and provide support but when visibility became and issue her support as well as Jon’s was limited until the trenches were lit. Jamie, Brienne, Podrick, Torvin (Not Sam) all fought in a heroic and amazing way.

Their strategy:
I was not thrilled when the Dothraki charged ahead into basically the unknown that didn’t workout too well to say the least, the catapults (excuse my terminology) as discussed in the Deep dive of the episode were not used to their potential but imagine if (I know they didn’t have dragon glass to waste) but they used dragon glass boulders as ammunition. One of my favorite scenes were the unsullied protecting the retreat without flinching that was amazing to watch.

And lastly Arya’s kill was amazing I have no issue with her being the one to do it, for me personally it was a surprise but a good one.

My question for you guys is do you think they have enough forces left to take the iron throne? In the preview they seemed confident and ready to go but do they have enough to fight and will the North fight with a foreign ruler?

Love your podcast!
