Did You Notice Jon Snow Was on Top?

First off I have to say I am sorry. I only found your podcast after this seasons episode 4. I have to say I enjoy your podcast very much. The format of your podcast and ideas you share are great.

Now on to the last episode. I agree with your instacast this episode mad up for some of the short comings of other episodes as well as connecting the dots of the rush plot lines this season.

I had a few thoughts on this episode first off the title of the show the Wolf and the dragon that title clearly had multiple meanings. The clearest Jon and Dany, or Rhaeyger and Lyanna but I think it refers to just Jon as he is both of Dragon and Wolf. As for Jon and his aunt Danys hookup I am ok with it and it goes to the history of their family. For centuries the Targaryens kept the loving in the family. Even in the book game of thrones Dany talks about how she thought at some point she would be marrying her brother. Now I can’t speak for what their reactions to the news will be but for me it makes sense. One thing I would like to point out about it is this. Jon snows ass! Midway through Jon rolls on top of Dany she looks more shocked than anything else at that moment. Ever since she learned to tame Khal Drogo in bed she has always been the one in charge! With Jon being on top I feel as if she let him take control of her something she never does. It’s as if she even just for that moment surrender to him.

The scene with Little finger on that very short trail was a great thing to witness. It is a great pay off for the rushed and wried sister fight they had going on at winterfell. I am glad it ended the way it did. I loved seeing brans vision but the scene with him and Sam felt rushed and not really placed well. Maybe it could have been fleshed out more and dragged between two episodes. I feel that Sam just showing up then running right bran with “hey look what my girlfriend found” is a little to convenient. All and all a great episode!

One thing I would like to know from you guys where do you think our cast is when the season starts and do we finally get to see Jon and Arya reunite ???
