On To King’s Landing

Hello,

Thank you guys so much for doing this podcast, it really is the best GOT review out there. I have to say that while I was a die hard book fan when the show started, I have since given up and am willing to go wherever the show takes me. We can bitch and complain all we want about what HBO does every episode, but there is nothing else on TV like this show. Since the beginning, I have re-watched the entire series twice. As a whole, you sort of lose the individual complaints. I think once this season is completed and we are able to go back and watch all eight seasons as a whole, we will forget about our small grips and be sad it is all over.

Yes, I am still wondering about the Prince who was promised. What was the point of Melisandre bringing it up to Dany when they met at Dragonstone in season 7 if we are just going to forget about it now?

Maybe Arya is the prince who was promised. Definitely seemed like Bran knew she was the one to kill the night king as he gave her the dagger to use.

Also the night king story line needed to end this episode so we can move on to Kings Landing and the fight for the iron throne. I don’t think I could have watched 3 more episodes of him stalking around the outskirts of Winterfell.

I do hope Cersei wins though, I mean did you see that dress she is wearing in the previews for next week! Her wardrobe is on point.
