Passing Winterfell

Hey guys,

I listened to the small council episode and have few things to follow up on. I’m not married to the idea that the army of the dead will skip Winterfell and march on Kings landing, there are many good reasons it won’t happen but king Bs rebuttal was reactionary and not thought out. The Night King has, without question, been strategic the entire series. He has been north of the wall for THOUSANDS of years, since his last defeat at the hands of humans, rebuilding his army with free folk, Casters male offspring (Night kings lieutenants?), and likely others preforming a similar roll as Caster. He pulled a dead dragon from the bottom of a frozen lake and re-animated it, he used the dragon to attack a specific portion (least stable) of the wall that could crumble into the sea. His pursuit of Bran and the three eyed raven. The size of his force would easily over run the men holding Castle Black. But he didn’t just attack Castles Black with his overwhelming numbers and hope a few dead get over the wall start making more dead and keep moving south. The Night King has been plotting his revenge since his last defeat all those years ago. This isn’t “The walking dead” the zombies maybe mindless but they aren’t directionless.
