Hey Guys,

The man in Black is for sure a host/clone… briefly talked about on the your show, episode 2 gives us a better perspective on how and why. First off, who the heck truly believes he could of survived the scene in journey into night, but I’ll let that slide for now. My main reason why I’m leaning in this direction is due to his conversation with Lawrence in the bar. Rewatch that scene over and over again and tell me you don’t get this feeling when he starts using “we” and “us” and “in the little time we have left, we get chance to see a glimpse of the men we could’ve been” . Episode 2 gives a solid possibility as to what is going on. He built his “greatest mistake” in Westworld. Most likely his data mining farm, his DNA stealing facility, his potential human cloning dome… all of the above.

Could it be possible that 30 years later, as he’s aging, he could finally finally live on forever as a clone of himself? (He would have to stay older because in a world where he is the head of Delos, he would not be recognized as a younger version of himself) it’s not far fetched when you think about the following. At J Delos’ retirement, we are well aware that he’s obviously dying while talking with Will. They have a discussion regarding stepping down and Delos tells Will it might not be for long. Will then interrupts him and tells him that they’re not quite there yet. What is that they are trying to do for him? Could it be something to keep Jim going… maybe like a clone of himself using the exoskeleton of a host? It’s obviously something to keep him alive. What if Delos went to extreme lengths to store his memory,DNA , whatever that makes him human and had it stored in a host until the project was ready. If this is a possibility then why not a possibility 30 years later as Will finds himself aging and nearing death.

***this could tie into why his wife would eventually commit suicide, 30 years later. Seems like an odd amount of time passed before she gave up due to the darkness within him. Could it be she discovered what he had become and did to himself?

***deeper theory, could Ford have known about this and figured out a way to control him like his hosts. We mess with the idea that Ford dabbled with Arnold’s DNA in the creation of Bernard. So in part the thoughts and mind are that of Arnold/Bernard, but the machine can still be controlled at the end of the day. Could Ford have trapped William in the park and to only have interactions that wouldn’t spoiled Fords motives? Manipulated him to be as human as possible, but to be left virtually imprisoned until Ford grand finale played out. The door story is finally Ford saying to Will go ahead and find your way out of Westworld, my host are free, here’s your chance to get your freedom too.

If you guys use this on the show please give me some recognition to 1Vivas
