Pearl Theory: Could Some Be Blank?

Hey Guys,

I just picked up your podcast this season and found it very entertaining. Great work!

I have a few thoughts on the 5 pearls.

In my confident bucket I have Bernard and Peter Abernathy. That leaves me 3 pearls to speculate on. In my less confident bucket I’ll throw Angela in there. I’m not sure I buy it, but Delores could have went and grabbed it after she blew herself up. They did show them to be essentially indestructible. I don’t think one of them is Teddy for the simple fact that the show explained that as soon as a host entered the virtual Eden their MCU was “virginized.” His MCU would have no Teddy memories on it. Is it possible Delores just smuggled out a few blank MCUs to essentially play the role of Dr Frankenstein? I think that’s one of the main reasons the final focused on her being the one that built and ran the fidelity tests on Arnold. It explains to the viewer she’s competent enough to do it. She could essentially create a few new hosts to control during her uprising. That would also give them the power to bring in a few new cast members as well. I supposed they would have to have some type of cradle back up system in their new quarters, but that would be believable since Ford/Bernard had already set up the house for them.

What do you think? Would it be possible for them to go that route?
