Well, we all love to see Arya and the Hound riding off to Kings Landing together, … who are the two that are always together at Kings Landing? the two people they want to kill, Cersei and the Mountain! This seems like a set up for what I think would be a fitting end to these people, which I’m sure many others have thought about as well.
Arya goes in for the Cersei kill (which will be awesome), but the Mountain is there. Sandor gets seriously wounded by his brother and is almost dead, but rallies when Arya is about to be killed by his brother. I feel that Sandor’s redemptive quality is his caring nature towards the Stark girls, especially Arya. In his way, he loves her, and that will hopefully be a bright spot in the show’s ending.
No matter how it plays out, this story line is my favorite, since so many others are getting sloppy and people aren’t acting rationally!

I have a different twist regarding the Arya/Hound association. Each is going South for unfinished business, but offer no details leaving us to assume. Since I have been kicking myself for missing some of the fore shadowiing and clues, I have been paying more attention. We see Arya shooting arrows, not only in the recent episode, but in the very beginning as well. The Mountain is still on her list, and from the looks of him, his eyes are the only part of him that seems vulnerable. Arya’s arrow can hit this target and kill the Mountain. Lady Mormont’s taking down the giant in the eye can also be an omen. To close the loop, the Hound is also the little brother. Perhaps they end up killing each others’ targets.
