Prince That Was Promised Theory

Just a theory but in the books baeric dondarian is already dead after giving his fire to Caitlyn stark to become lady stoneheart. Since she was removed from the TV series and baeric is still alive it would be fitting for him to go out in almost the same was.

So here is what I am thinking. Sometime within episode 1 and 2 of next season the red priestesses will arrive back and convince Jon he is the “prince that is was promised.”

Gendry will attempt to help John forge lightbringer. But will be unsuccessful. Somehow either Jon will convince Dany or she will convince John to stab her through her heart and it will successfully create light bringer. I believe the latter is more true because of John’s personality. John will leave to go end the night king using all of his emotions because he just killed his second woman he has ever loved and the pain he feels will be a motivating factor in his final face off with the night king. While he is gone the melisandra will attempt to revive dany but will fail. Baeric will see his purpose for staying alive and perform the same ritual he used on lady stoneheart in the books and give his “fire” to dany.

The only hole I see in this is that when forging light bringer the wife’s soul was fused with the blade. So how would dany be revived after her soul was gone? My explanation for this is that this prophecy was made thousands of years ago and the soul thing probably wasn’t true just embellished over time.
