Serac Tin Foil Hat Theory

Thanks so much for all you do, I really enjoy listening to all three parts of your weekly podcast on Westworld!

I have a relatively undeveloped theory but I’m really excited about it and wanted to share to see what your thoughts are:

What if Serac is not “real?” As in, he is not human and he is not a host, but just has a digital existence in Rehoboam?? What if his appearances as a hologram to Maeve or Charlotte/Dolores are actually Rehoboam manifesting himself in a human form?

I believe that the flashbacks are Serac’s real memories from his life when he was human (?), but in all of the present day moments, I don’t think we have seen the actual Serac. This might explain how he was able to track down Maeve and build her a new host body. It would also explain his motive for wanting to get rid of Dolores since she poses such a big threat to Rehoboam.

In the very first episode, Liam says to Dolores: “No one knows what the system is doing other than its original architect.” What if that is because the original architect, Serac, is “in” the system or is the system?

Again, this is relatively undeveloped but would explain why there is so little information about Serac.
