Small Council – Jon Doesn’t Learn

I wanted to talk about the similarity of Jon’s charge against the night king and it’s similarity to his attack of Ramsay Snow/Bolton. In the battle of the bastards, Jon makes a kamikaze dash to save Rickon which leaves him isolated and totally screwed except for the knights of the vale courtesy of Sansa.

Now we find ourselves watching Jon make a foolishly brave attack on the night king and getting swarmed by what looks like a football field of wights. Somehow, he is saved again but this time by Dany. Jon is a great character and his development from bastard to lord commander to king to warden to rightful heir of the seven kingdoms has been fun to watch but really he should have died on both major battlefields.
