Stop Comparing American Gods to Westworld

Love your podcast and all, but if you seriously compare American Gods (as of now) to be of the same caliber of shows like Lost or Game of Thrones, I will no longer be able to take you seriously.

The show has some neat visuals and some decently acted scenes but it is not even close to being as complex or interesting as shows like Lost or Game of Thrones – the character development is not even in the same league.

Even Westworld blows it away so far. You really need to get some perspective – watch Leftovers if you want to see a current show that approaches the above shows. Even shows like Fargo or Better Call Saul have much better acting / directing / writing. Please try to avoid elevating a show just because you happen to be doing a podcast about it – can’t take you seriously if you really think comparing the best TV shows ever to American Gods at this point is at all reasonable.
