Great synopsis of E 7.

Just a few thoughts I know you are right re James dying it would be a more classic way to end the tale of James Delaney and his “Merry” Men but I don’t think he will, instead his band of followers will rescue him from the Tower (tis handy he has a view of the river) and they’ll sail off to the USA in their ship that they won in a raffle (don’t ask me how this will happen as I don’t have the foggiest).

Thought it was odd that Lorna didn’t seem upset that Brace dispatched Horace using arsenic granted his bleeding hands were a distraction.

What did James mean when he said to Zilpha you never think?! There chat reminded me of Dangerous Liaisons and his facial twitching was similar to how he was while listening to Thorne. If he said that to me I would have told him to shove the diamond. I hope the show doesn’t have Zilpha go bonkers or kill herself as James is not worth it.

What did you think of the flashbacks or premonitions he has having while being waterboarded..James hanging from a tree, shipwreck, Thorne is the character behind the mask etc
Not sure if you read that it is Tom Hardy’s father that is lying in the morgue in the first episode and last night we see Edward Fox (Horace) by the river and Salish is wearing her native clothes instead of the black dress.

As I’m a textile designer my fave line from last night was uttered by Dumbarton ” when my reds are red, my whites are white and my blues are blue, I will leave”… now why isn’t he worried about what is coming….

Looking forward to seeing how it will all end, however I think it could have been an even better show if there was slightly more reveal and less prancing around. After awhile the flashbacks became a bit tired as they didn’t have enough contrast. I would have preferred just a tad more dialogue than grunting

All the best,
Anne
