Can I remind you guys that this is ‘True Detective’ not True Love or True Life… if the story’s mystery is a MacGuffin then we all wasted a lot of tinfoil over the last 7 episodes.
I agree with your assessment of episode 8 -if we were watching a Hallmark movie. Everything you guys hate about poor script writing, contrived characters and convenient answers is incapsulated in this episode. WTF!
The only mystery left to solve is why are you kissing Pizzolatto’s/HBO’s ass?!
Keep up the good work. Please stay off the drugs when watching the shows you are going to review. Still love your podcast.
