Hello Shat crew.

I would very much like to thank the person that figured out that Teddy was brought out of the sublime by Bernard. I think I was hung up on the idea that Teddy would need a ‘body’ to inhabit, but if he’s in VR, problem solved, sort of. Teddy piggy backs in Bernard’s head, like Spock in McCoy’s mind in ‘The Search for Spock’ (such a let down after Wrath of Khan). Then Bernard wifis Teddy into Christina’s VR? You would think Haloris implemented better security. She upgraded the hosts so Maeve had a more difficult time controlling them. Why would Bernard be able to hack her system and upload Teddy? And then I remembered the riot-bots.
Bernard had hacked their system and only sent Maeve out to face them because, ‘It looked like you were having fun.’ We see that Haloris suspected a security breach when she was talking to Christina in the restaurant, she just couldn’t pin down specifics. Good thing for Christina that Haloris can be distracted by a dropped tray. I very much agree with the deep dive that the armless bots that the pearls are put in for ascension are just weird, walking sculptures. And Haloris stroking it like a lover? Okay, maybe she loves what it represents, ascension to her new world, but it really is impractical, unsecure, and not even that pretty. So freaking silly.

Thank you all for doing the podcasts. It makes the show so much more enjoyable.

Take care
