My prediction for the Man in Black:

This season, the Man in Black has been revisiting the major events of his time in the park and his life through Ford’s game. His story begins with being told by young Ford that this game is finally for him. Next, he reunites with Lawrence and saves Lawrence’s family in Pariah. Last episode the Man in Black has a face-off with Maeve. Following his timeline from last season backwards – next in his journey will be meeting up with his daughter and discussing Juliette’s suicide, and then finally he will have to meet Dolores.

My prediction is that Grace will find her dad, and she will save him because she wasn’t ready for him to commit “suicide by robot.” They will have a reconciliation that will leave Grace travelling with her dad.

The Man in Black’s path will end where it began: with Dolores – this time in the Valley Beyond. At this point, the Man in Black will be closer to a white hat than he’s been in decades, but Dolores, now completely out of Ford’s control, will want nothing more to do with him. I’ve thought that it could end with the Man in Black sacrificing himself to save his daughter (who likely won’t leave his side this time), but I think what is more likely is him making a decision between dying and getting to live as a host. He will have the choice between getting killed by Dolores or living as a host version of himself. Ultimately I believe he will die at Dolores’s hand.
