Thank You

Hey Guys,

This is just for you guys. I wanted to thank you for the hard work you”ve put in. I just commend it so much and have really admired your dedication. Even with American Gods 🙂

Gene, when you teared up on the podcast this past week, I had to pull over. It might have been an overreaction, but for some reason, your voice cracking just got me and I sobbed. I’m waiting for some really bad news that a friend will lose her fight with cancer. It”s been a long road.

I think about all the time and attention we pay to shows and movies, and it”s because they make us happy. Even when shit is bad, they give us a safe space, provide comfort, make us think, and yes – speak to us. And when you spend hours recording for listeners like me, you make me laugh or rant, or just give me a moment. We need those moments.

And you all are so generous with your time, as well as your hearts. I know Richard sharing with us when they experienced a miscarriage was rough but also made me want to send hugs across the internet. You all are like friends, and I think it”s a testament to the quality of what you do that your listeners care so much.

As we sail west, go beyond the wall, and get back to the business of ruling, I want to thank you for everything.
